Corrections log
This page is where I admit what I got wrong. Crypto data shifts daily, exchange fee policies change every few months, and I make my share of mistakes. Anything I revise gets logged here — date, article, before, after, why.
Current status
(Site launched recently · 2026-05-27)
Once 2026 produces a mistake — wrong fee number, outdated chain info, a policy change I missed, anything factually off — it goes here with the before/after diff.
Logging rules
Format below is the template every entry follows: date, article affected, original wording, corrected wording, reason. Factual errors come first. Cosmetic edits (typos, prose tightening) don't qualify as corrections.

Severity tiers
Not everything I change gets logged. Three tiers:
- Factual errors (always logged): wrong fee numbers, wrong contract specs, mis-stated regulation, wrong dates on historical events, wrong project/person names. These shape reader decisions, so the diff stays public.
- Strategic additions (selective logging): if an exchange ships a new feature post-publish and I add a paragraph, that's an "update" rather than a correction — usually flagged inline at the end of the piece, and the big ones get a note here.
- Typos / grammar / layout (no log): fixed silently. Not worth a row.
How to report an error
Spot something wrong? Email me directly:
Subject line "corrections" makes it easy for me to filter. In the body, drop the article URL, the specific paragraph, and what you think the correct version should be (a source link is even better). I'll verify, and if it checks out the article and this log update within 3 days.
One note: for exchange policy errors, I default to the exchange's official page. For on-chain data, the block explorer. Other sources are reference only.
